The geological laboratory

Laboratory of geology provides basic characteristic of physical and chemical properties of soils and archaeological findings based on soil. Main focus is dedicated to pedogenetic and geological processes on archaeological sites, analysis and interpretation of mechanism of individual pedogenetic processes and circulation of chemical elements on sites and its hinterland. Laboratory provides sampling for wide range of geological methods, including micromorphology, basic pedological and geoarchaeological description of soil profiles and samples.
