Science Popularization

ArcheoGen is actively involved in science outreach for the general public. The center regularly participates in events such as Mjuni, European Researchers' Night, and Science Week, where it presents the field of ancient DNA through practical experiments and educational lectures. These activities aim to showcase the possibilities and limitations of ancient DNA analysis. ArcheoGen also contributes its expertise to one-time events, from smaller-scale popular science lectures to large-scale projects, such as collaborating on the design and installation of new museum exhibitions. Through these efforts, ArcheoGen brings cutting-edge research closer to the public, inspiring interest in the fascinating world of archaeogenetics.
