Research infrastructure

The existing infrastructure and its facilities consists of equipment for non-destructive geophysical field prospection, sets for large scale field documentation and equipment for material, technological and functional analysis of artefacts. The research infrastructure of the centre also includes three field research bases - Těšetice, Pohansko and Panská Lhota – which specialise on various methods of excavation and documentation and on other research methods. The field research bases are equipped with basic technologies, devices and tools for performing field archaeological research and for taking environmental samples (flotation machine, screens, etc.), scientific experiments realisation. Moreover, there are also storage spaces and laboratories of primary processing of archaeological discoveries (washing, record keeping, basic preservation).
